Going through the peer review done by Danielle (https://daniellepebres.com/pub-101/peer-review-1/), she gave many encouraging words that helped me to feel more confident about my website. Through this process post, I wanted to go through what’s going well and what points of improvement through the review.
Things going well:
Name of the website
She enjoyed the name “Chewing Balls”
The name of the website was able to pique her interest in the site
Home Page
It grabs attention with a clear headline and caption – allowing users to know what they expect.
Clean and modern
The website’s colour colour palette matches the logo, resembling milk tea and boba
About me Page
Allows the audience to get to know who I am, my personality, my charms, just who I am
Tells what kind of audience I am targeting
Things that I could improve:
The website uses many neutral colours, with different blocks of colour contrasting with the white background.
Adjusting text in the review post
Adjust spacing in the post
Adjusting the Boba Review Page
Have an updated tier list in each post
I appreciate Danielle’s ongoing feedback on my website, so I’d like to implement her input. Here are some of the updated aspects I added through her suggestions.
Fixed boba review page layout
I tried making it a bit cleaner, having six reviews at a time, not cramming everything on one page
Updated Tier List on Home Page
Added the most up-to-date tier list on the home page, so readers won’t have to go through each review to find each ranking.
