Process Post #5 - What places do I review?

In Vancouver, there are boba spots everywhere. With so many options, which ones do I review? With 12 posts, I had to pick which ones I wanted to highlight the most. Many places offer similar things: milk tea and fruit tea. Although those are staple drinks, I didn’t want to ramble and write the same thing for each review. So, what and how did I pick what I was going to write about?

These are the things I am going to review. I wanted 3-4 boba spots with a general specialization. Their main menu would include the staples of milk tea, fruit tea, and other items, such as CoCo, Chatime, or T&T.

The rest of the reviews I wanted to subject them to more specific specializations. The remaining boba review would have something more interesting to write about because of what they are known for. For example, Tiger Sugar mainly specializes in Brown Sugar drinks, allowing me to talk more about why their drinks are more memorable and how it compares to other brown sugar drinks on the market. Others like Hey I am Yogost, specializes in yogurt, CHICHA San Chen specializes in creating boba through different techniques and higher quality tea, OneZo specializes in their non traditional pearls.

With boba chains with specific specialty, it will introduce the audience to things outside of the norm of a Boba Milk Tea. Showing them the vast and ever-changing boba scene with its different takes on creating the thing we love.

At this point, I have chosen CoCo, Chatime, OneZo, HeyTea, Tiger Sugar, Chicha, Hey I am Yogost, The Alley, T&T, Milk And Sugar, and Boba Run. I will write a more in-depth review of these places. For my 12th post, I will have a review with multiple reviews, mainly on my opinions.
