The Alley

Pompompurin drinking boba

HELLO EVERYONE! My name is Pompompurin, one of your Sanrio friends. I am a friendly and laid-back golden retriever who loves pudding, hence my name (Purin = Pudding). Today, I will be taking over one Boba Review and show you one of my favourite boba spots in Vancouver!

The Alley is a Taiwanese-based boba tea chain that has gained popularity worldwide for its unique and high-quality beverages. Known for its signature “Brown Sugar Deerioca Series,” The Alley offers a variety of drinks including milk teas, fruit teas, and specialty collaboration drinks. The brand is renowned for its attention to detail in both the taste and presentation of its drinks, often featuring artistic designs and premium ingredients. With its cozy and stylish ambiance, The Alley has become a favourite destination for my friends and many a like.

Drinks and Toppings

The Alley has many tasty and beautiful drinks that cater to all different people. Among its signature offerings is the Brown Sugar Deerioca Series, which features a delightful combination of rich, caramelized brown sugar syrup, chewy tapioca pearls, and velvety milk tea. For those craving fruity refreshment, the Fruit Tea Series presents a tantalizing selection of freshly brewed teas infused with real fruit flavours, accompanied by juicy fruit chunks.

One of my favourite drinks is their Specialty Drink in the Aurora Series. The Morning Dawn and the Northern Lights are so pretty that I don’t want to drink them. With tasty grape and mango taste infused into the drinks, I can drink those for days.

To make my drinks taste even better, you can customize their drinks with various toppings, including aloe vera, grass jelly, different flavours of jelly and my all-time favourite, PUDDING. Adding extra flavours and texture to your beverage of choice.

The Alley beverage prices can vary depending on the location and the specific drink ordered. Generally, the price of a drink is $4 to $6. However, prices may be higher or lower depending on factors such as the size of the drink, additional toppings or customizations.

The Alley has many promotions with different brands and series. Last summer, they collaborated with ME!!! The Alley created two drinks, the Mango Frappe and Peach Frappe (super yummy drinks), and added my face on top. With each purchase of my drink, you got a postcard and a straw sleeve. Although my drinks were limited edition, The Alley always has something new coming up, so look forward to it. Maybe it could be my friends next.

Boba Review Mascot Happy

My Opinion

Thanks Pompom for taking over, but I’ll give my final review. Overall, The Alley has phenomenal drinks. They are always trying doing new that gives the other boba spots competition. With its lower pricing and unique flavours, The Alley is a must-try. With its closure in Richmond, you can still find it in Vancouver. Whatever you get, you won’t be disappointed.
